"Two-a-Cat"
Summer days, the artist remembers. Baseball played in empty lots with makeshift bases, small gloves and a taped ball that had to last the season. Girls watched from the sidelines and bikes were strewn about. "Two" or "Three-A-Cat" baseball was played in the days when there were never enough players to form two teams. Players rotated around positions and took a turn at bat. There was no score keeping. The original oil measures 18x24 inches and was painted in 1997.
