"Gathering Sails"
 Perhaps it is because the artist always lived near the oceanthat sailing and things of the sea are themes that often appear in his work. The color and movement that may be obtained from this subject matter of sea people gathering and drying sails has always been a favorite among art buyers. The blue ocean beyond is a mariner's delight.
