"The Morsel"
A major work. Paul Gatto's version of the Last Supper was ten years
in the making. This ten by five foot oil on canvas was commissioned by
the National Museum of Catholic Art & History in New York City. The com-
position follows faithfully all that is revealed in the Four Gospels plus added
figures and features that could reasonably have been part of the event.
Many of the working drawings accompany the canvas. It will be shown soon
in Washington, DC at the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center there.
